Hero Moto Corp Limited is one of the top two-wheelers manufacturers in India and has headquarters in New Delhi.
The Hero group partnered with Honda Motors(Japan) and formed Hero Honda Motors in 1984. The Company launched motorcycles in India, which were quite famous because of their lower price and fuel economy.
It launched the first motorcycle, i.e., the CD 100, in 1985, and in 1987 it produced 100,000 CD-100 units in India. Hero Honda Company was the first Company to introduce four-stroke engines in bikes.
